 Have you done an advent calendar to count down to Christmas? Things have changed since we were kids and eating stale cheap chocolate out of an advent calendar. Did you know there's LEGO versions and even a version from Sephora? Versions exist for kids and parents. What a fun way to get excited about the holidays!

1. Little People Advent Calendar - This calendar is a popular option for younger kids as it doesn't contain small pieces and in general kids love little people. Because it's a popular item, the price is changing constantly on Amazon. Under $31 is a great price to buy this advent calendar. It's also prone to selling out since there aren't many options for young kids, so if it's out of stock, make your purchase and they will ship it when it becomes available. I got one for my daughter who will be one this year and the box was bigger in real life than I expected.

2. Disney Tsum Tsum Advent Calendar  This calendar is so popular that not only is it prone to selling out, it's currently selling for higher than it's initial price point of $39.99. If you see if for $39.99 or less, grab one!

3. Playmobile NHL advent Calendar  For the sports fan in your life! This Playmobil NHL calendar is a great option. I got one for my husband! Smaller pieces mean this is for kids 5+.
