Prime Day 2022 is right around the corner! If you've been considering joining Amazon Prime, now is the time to do it. It's a membership program that offers a lot of extras for an annual fee of $119. It can seem like an expensive proposition compared to other services, but there are plenty of benefits that make signing up worth it – especially if you're a frequent Amazon shopper. You can borrow books for free from the Amazon Kindle Store and via Audible.

Try a free 7 day Audible Plus subscription! For $7.95/month you can listen all you want to thousands of included titles in the Plus Catalog. 

For an extra $9.99/month, you can join kindle unlimited which gives you unlimited reading and listening on any device. Prime will provide you with one free e-book at the start of each month, but your selection is limited to what is offered and usually is a selection of between 5 books. That is enough for me, but if you are an avid reader, a kindle unlimited or audible subscription is going to compliment your overall prime benefits!

You can also save money on popular items like food, clothing, toys and home goods. Amazon Prime features exclusive coupons and deals that you won’t find anywhere else.

  • Free 2-Day Shipping: With this benefit you get unlimited free two-day shipping on most eligible items with no minimum purchase required.

  • Free Return Shipping: If you don't like something you bought from Amazon or it doesn't fit properly (and it wasn't a gift card), return shipping is free for most orders. Ordering products that are not sold by Amazon may require an additional fee if they are returned to the retailer instead of being sent back to Amazon's warehouse first. It's important to remember that if it has been more than 30 days since they received their package then they might not be eligible anymore either! Free two-day shipping is the most obvious benefit of being an Amazon Prime member. If you have a Prime membership and order something on Amazon, it will be shipped to your door in as little as two days. For those who are impatient like me, this is a major perk.

Amazon Prime members also receive free access to music, videos and photos stored in Amazon Cloud Drive at no extra cost. These services do come with limits: for example, only 5GB of storage is free for photos; after that you can pay extra or limit yourself to lower quality images if you want more space on your account (the same goes for video). However, this feature alone may be worth it if you use these features frequently enough—for example, I don't think I've ever bought music outright since getting my first iPod back when they were still called "iPods" instead of just "iPads."
