I had to look it up myself. It's 10 days or 2 Monday's before Christmas. Stores try to lure you in with sales since we are getting into crunch time. A lot of items that were heavily discounted on Cyber Monday are showing up in the sale cycle again. So if you missed a deal the first time, check it out today and see if you can get a great deal! My husband is a big board game fanatic. We have a lot of strategy and cooperative games, but that are also party games and easy to learn and play quickly. Target has a current promotion for buy 2 get 1 game free (until 11/5/16), so I'm going to share the favorites from our house! Ticket to Ride This game has won "best of" awards, and comes in the original game, for ages 8 and up. An easy strategy game to follow, you pick colors and build trains. There are bonus cards for connecting certain routes, and the longest train at the end earns bonus points as well. It's fun because you don't know if people completed their "bonus" or not so you can be in the lead at the end, but once all the points are added up you can easily lose. Advent Calendar Deals Have you done an advent calendar to count down to Christmas? Things have changed since we were kids and eating stale cheap chocolate out of an advent calendar. Did you know there's LEGO versions and even a version from Sephora? Versions exist for kids and parents. What a fun way to get excited about the holidays! Here are some popular advent calendars worth checking out: 1. Little People Advent Calendar - This calendar is a popular option for younger kids as it doesn't contain small pieces and in general kids love little people. Because it's a popular item, the price is changing constantly on Amazon. Under $31 is a great price to buy this advent calendar. It's also prone to selling out since there aren't many options for young kids, so if it's out of stock, make your purchase and they will ship it when it becomes available. I got one for my daughter who will be one this year and the box was bigger in real life than I expected.

Subscribe and Save: How it works and current deal (10/4/16) Subscribe and Save is the next best thing since sliced bread. Get all of your household essentials and even some snacks delivered right to your door while you are still in your pjs at 2pm. Don't judge. First, you need Amazon prime. If you don't have it already sign up here for a free trial. One complaint comes from my husband based on breaking down the boxes for recycling but other than that you can't go wrong. Also, by me not going into Target I automatically save $150 each time I need to just buy some toilet paper. That's just basic math. How does it work? Look for subscribe and save eligible items on Amazon. You get 5% off each item that you add to your monthly subscription. Once you get to 5+ items you get 15% off.
